The Union, was the president’s imperative dream

The National Day…always reminds me of the idea of the Union. At the early beginning it was a dream in the mind of H.H. the president of the state, it occupied his thoughts’ since he was a ruler of the Eastern Province. It became a daily call to God in His prayers to turn the dream into reality. This achievement meat many things to him :- Participation in giving , achieving prosperity to all our people, compensating the era of backwardness and deprivation, ability to defeat all the challenges we face, it also means the accessibility to the civilized world, which is dominated by the powerful, and it means the establishment of a state having weight and respect. The beginning was modest but the ambitions were great. The President of the U.A.E. ( Ruler of Abu Dhabi at that time) has exert’ extraordinary efforts for convincing and bringing the issue of unity, goals and benefits to his neighbours. Also, to disperse doubts regarding his idea about unity which is so far from personal interests, it is only for gratification of God and one’s conscience. Those are unforgettable days.

Woman and future

In front of me, I can foresee image of Woman in my country. She is aware of all surrounding circumstances. She will get rid of scientific, social and family illiteracy, as they are the first enemies of woman and the society. I can watch her, hand in hand, with her sister who missed opportunity for education and experience, heading together to progress and civilization with sure steps, with no arrogance, with no patronizing airs between both of them. This is the beginning in order to be grateful to the country.
